Moyo Island overview

Indonesia’s islands are usually beautiful and untouched by crowds, and set the postcard-perfect scene that many only see on the cover of travel magazines. Moyo Island is no exception and is predominantly made up from two nature reserves known as Moyo Island Hunting Park and Marin Park of Moyo Island. Deer, birds, wild boar, wild cows and macaques all inhabit the parkland and the island is hot, sandy and desert-like with a few wispy trees in the centre. Nature lovers will enjoy this paradise that is filled with flora and fauna both onshore and offshore while those with an aversion to sand, animals and seclusion should stay on the mainland.
