Magelang overview

Magelang Travel Guide
Central Java is home to numerous towns and cities, many of which boast the usual over populated streets that are home to motorised scooters, push bikes, stray dogs and bustling people who never seem to tire of the crazy lifestyle - and Magelang is no exception. There are many museums here offering a touch of culture along with temples and parks and its borders are used for agriculture, ensuring plenty of green spaces. Jalan Pemuda, more commonly known in English as Youth Street, is home to a wide selection of businesses, shops, mini marts, market areas, restaurants and the ever-present rickshaws that are commonly ridden by local men who appear to be soon to reach their centenary!
