Lombok overview

Lombok Travel Guide
The attractive island of Lombok is located close to Bali, which acts as both a blessing and a curse. Although currently the unspoilt version of its more popular neighbour, it is being billed by every travel agent in Indonesia as such therefore it looks set to become a worn and trodden down version of its former glory thanks to the ever destructive tourism sector. Mount Rinjani juts out of the centre of the island, making up the most dominant part of the landscape, and beautiful beaches, crystal blue waters and cheap accommodation can all be enjoyed around the island. Lombok is also home to the famous sunfish and giant manta rays and is still, but likely not for long, a nature-lover’s paradise.
